Alan Wellburn
Alan has worked in the tourism and finance industries in South Africa, Australia and the UK. He has travelled through Central America, Australia, SE Asia and Europe on his quest for waves (using his BComm Degree and cheap suit to finance his travels). His main passions of surfing, mountain biking and sandboarding now take second place to his most recent succesful project – his 2 perfect little princesses.
Jessica Cohen
On a break from her distinctive wobbly lined drawings as an architect, Jessica has found a different passion with the world adventure travel. She helps to hold the fort at Sunscene HQ in Kommetjie making sure that things run smoothly, while spearheading new exciting adventure projects. In her other life she is also the mother of two boisterous girls – soon to be spotted flying down the Atlanits sand dunes on their own custom crafted personalised matching pink sand boards.
Moses Ssekali
Capable not only of controlling twenty cake-crazed children in a forest, Moses can also fix cars, make furniture, design sandboard deck art and stomach three sugars in his coffee.This caring and energetic guide will make sure that you and your group get the most out of your sandboarding or advenutre course experience.
Upile Ayami
Kind-hearted Upile is friendliness personified and also a bid of a football freak. Calm and capable in any situation, Upile may share his speedmaster sanboarding secrets with you if you can guess his favourite football team.
Fred Wagenvoorde
Fred’s invaluable skills as a lifeguard make him a good guy to have around on those surf trips and raft builds. He also studies at the University of Cape Town full time.
Grant Little
Studying towards a degree at the University of Cape Town, Grant runs sandboarding and adventure course trips part time. A true boy scout, Grant is an invaluable member of our guide team.
