Sandboarding tutorial

Getting started

You don’t need much equipment to start sandboarding. The basics are:

• A sandboard – can be purchased from major surf shops or directly from the manufacturers. Second hand sports shops sometimes have good beginners boards.
• Wax – Cobra Floor Polish works pretty well.
• Sponge to apply the wax to the bottom of the board
• Suncream
• Hat
• Plenty of water
